Prior to 2020 Change, I knew I wanted to work in marketing but I was not sure how I would break into the industry. I did not have anyone in my network who worked in marketing so I didn't have any clear guidance on how to go about it. Through the help of 2020 Change, I managed to land a life changing work placement at Converse. The brand name alone was enough to help me get further opportunities in the marketing industry. Working at Converse and having the opportunity to do things such as pitch and execute their first ever Black History Month, has filled me with the confidence that I have exactly what the marketing industry needs and that I will be a success in this field. 2020 Change helped me unlock many doors but most importantly my full potential.
